The Kinross Woolshed is a relocated shearing shed that was moved from Holbrook, north of Albury, in 1988. The Woolshed was rebuilt using the original materials and keeping true to its original features. The building's origins date back to the 1890's when it was one of the busiest shearing sheds in Australia. Kinross Woolshed is one of the most popular dining and entertainment venues on the border as well as a must see tourist destination for people visiting Albury Wodonga. Over the past few years many of the music industry's biggest stars have performed at the Kinross including international '80s stars Belinda Carlisle and Rick Astley as well as Australian stars such as Jimmy Barnes, Vanessa Amorosi, Joe Cameliri, Diesel, Shannon Noll, The Whitlams, Lisa Mitchell, Jeff Lang and many many more. Known as the home of Country Music on the border with the cream of Australian Country artists all appearing including Adam Brand, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, James Blundell, Gina Jeffreys, the Sunny Cowgirls, the McClymonts, Jetty Road and even Chad Morgan. We were recommended this restaurant by the people where we were staying. The staff are friendly and it is a very nice building inside. What we really liked though was the food.

If you love vanilla slices, those from Myrtleford Bakehouse are right up there with the very best. We were passing through on the rail trail and so taking extras with us was not an option but I was tempted.

Their views from the outside deck are spectacular. Cloud 9 Falls Creek is right next to the ski lifts. Their hot chocolate was yum!

We are a small family-run regenerative farm in the NSW Eastern Riverina. Our farm operates with the simple belief that loved, happy and content animals will produce tastier food. Our chickens are moved regularly in their chicken caravans on to fresh pasture. They eat fresh grass, forage for bugs, have uninterrupted access to the outdoors, are encouraged to express their true “chicken-ness”, and are never locked up. The result is delicious, nutritious, and ethical eggs that are good for you and the earth.
