Hi, my name is Bec and I am a Qualified Polestar Pilates Instructor providing Pilates classes in the beautiful town of Maleny. We've been running our classes since 2016 and our lovely group of participants also have regular social get togethers. I run a variety of classes for anyone wishing to improve their posture, flexibility, upper and lower extremity strength, core stability and spine agility. My classes are suitable for beginner to advanced participants and I can cater for specific injuries, illnesses or postpartum concerns. I first started Pilates 20 years ago, after an accident left me with a disc herniation, forcing me to stop running and playing sports. I instantly fell in love with the Pilates Method. Movement and breath suddenly made sense. I learnt to isolate individual muscles and I developed a strong core. I felt stronger than I ever had, even compared to when I was a nationally competitive gymnast as a youngster. Pilates keeps me moving in my everyday life with less pain and discomfort. It's a wonderful movement modality that is suitable for everyone.
