Hi I'm Mitch Hickman, I have been filming weddings for over 7 years across the country and globe. I specialise in Southern Highlands wedding video and I also film throughout the Illawarra region and Sydney. A wedding day to me is one of the most special occasions in a couples life. I found cinematography allows me to capture those special moments. Telling your story is my passion.

Originally from the Far South Coast of NSW, I now reside in Wollongong with my dog Hazel. You’ll often find me in the water having a surf or diving and fishing. I was first drawn to photography and videography through my love of the ocean, documenting its many moods and those that ride her. This led me to attended university, arming myself with the knowledge to translate emotions through sound and image, my camera allowing me to interpret what I see, fascinated by intricate details that are so often overlooked. My approach to wedding cinematography is to document your day in a fun, non-obtrusive way. I aim to capture authentic moments to create a gateway back to how you felt in that moment. By shooting in a handheld, cinematic style, I can tell your story in the most intimate way, as though you are right there with me. For me, cinematography isn't just my job, but also my passion and hobby. I want to produce work that makes you feel something.

James O’Connor is a videographer/photographer who specialises in Documentary, Music and Events. James launched James Patrick Photographer in 2013 as a freelance photographer from a marketing, account service background and a keen eye for a captivating picture. Over the years he has pivoted to focus on video – producing award winning documentaries, music videos, concert and festival content. James’ work has been used on billboards, ABC TV, TVC, print and POS to launch a new product globally. His work has taken him around Australia and Europe.

Exposure Arts & Media was established in 2003 by photographer, filmmaker, visual artist, composer and graphic designer, CAZ (Carolyn) NOWACZYK. Caz spends almost every waking moment doing something creative for herself or her clients, and she loves nothing better than to come up with creative solutions. This constant foray into creativity means Caz is always developing new and exciting creative skills to add to her already expansive creative skillset, and the good news is, she loves to share it with her clients. Caz’s passion for photography and film has led her to focus on photographing weddings, portraits, events, performance and corporate. I’m sure there’s a good chance you are here because you want me to capture your wedding and you deserve to know a little bit about the person behind the camera. I find myself waking up daily amazed that I get to do this as my career. When I’m not travelling around filming weddings I adore spending time outdoors riding motorcycles, hiking and camping on the South Coast or sitting around the fire pit at home with our kids under the stars. Life really does throw you curveballs sometimes. I found myself quitting my 9-5 grind in the hope of finding greater fulfilment in life. I never could have dreamed my passion for cinematography and editing would completely change my outlook on life and my future. Since then I’ve connected with so many amazing people and crafted for them something that I believe will follow them for the rest of their lives and stand the test of time. I feel immense fulfilment in creating wedding films, and I would be honoured to capture the unique journey that is your story.

My Name is Tom Coburn, I reside on the south coast of NSW, Australia. Growing up next to the ocean I developed a passion for surfing early, and through that, surf film making and photography. I started documenting the characters and intricacies of the ocean from a young age, and continue to do so. I never set out to become anything in particular, only to live creatively and push the scope of my experience for adventure. But when a wedding photographer friend asked me to come along and shoot the greatest adventure in most anyone’s life, I knew I had found my niche. I see life in angles, in lines of perspective, a slight turn of the head, the blink of an eye, subtle glimpses of magic other folk might pass by. Cameras help me translate, interpret and understand what I see. To me, filmmaking is not a service, its an art form. I like to think of your booking as a commission for an artwork, that you can view and enjoy for the rest of your days. I find satisfaction in capturing and documenting one of the most important days of your life in the way that I see it. Every wedding is a memorable experience for me. On the day, there is no team of 4 or 5 crew setting up tripods and cranes all over and causing a distraction, it is just me, subtly capturing what I see, when I see it. Life on the road is something I was raised to embrace, I am happy to travel whatever distance it may be to be there on your day.
