As I have had my hair cut here before (never dyed though), as well as my makeup done, I assumed the girls would take good care of my hair and show patience. Booked a caramel balayage on a Thursday afternoon 2020, at 2:00pm. Onyx shuts at 5:30pm. Four apprentice girls proceeded to speedily bleach and foil my hair, all in different directions and lengths. The girls were complaining that the balayage was holding them back from leaving work while foiling my hair. After around 15 minutes of the bleach sitting in my hair, the foils were burning hot and the bleach had melted so much, it was leaking out onto my bare neck and forehead. The bleach was supposed to be in my hair for 45-60mins. The girls washed it out of my hair and they could not detangle the breakage! I am now left with extremely damaged, dry hair and have tried everything to fix it. After 2 years my hair has still not recovered, and the porosity of my hair is unfixable. If I could give less than one star I would, disgraceful.
