Eddie Booth slashed and oversowed my 100 acre farm. My problem is a lack of good winter feed. My paddocks hadn't been slashed for 5 years, so all tree stumps and soaks and obstacles were obscured with long dead grass stalks. I discussed these obstacles with Eddie and he did a great job (the paddocks look very neat and tidy) and also oversowed my pasture with winter seeds. He avoided obstacles because he had actually listened to me explaining all potential dangers, and actually remembered where those obstacles were (a novelty in my experience). I was very impressed with Eddie's professional approach and attitude. The work was done in a very short time. All his machinery and his delivery truck, were washed down and clean. This was necessary, as my Certified Organic Farm requires this. He simply "got stuck into it", and did a first class job. As I get precocious weeds under organic control, Eddie will be back to slash and oversow again (only a few paddocks were shut off to re-seed), so Winter supplementary feeding will be a thing of the past. Eddie's work enables me to get on with the more detailed aspects of my farm management, for future pasture health and diversity. Biodiversity is the key, and oversowing can increase it with minimal impact on my soil health. My organic farm and it's animals mean everything to me; they are my life. Compassionate and caring contracting, such as Eddie Booth provides, suits me very, very well. I am very happy with his services.
