Ward Benedict was created in 1999 to cater to the rapidly expanding Special Events industry in Australia and to lead with innovative event and entertainment design. From day one our team has been solely focused on bringing serious flair in designing the hippest event spaces. Our team come from a range of backgrounds including fashion, theatre, art, the music industry and corporate events. Our design team - headed by Director Ben Jenkins - are design fanatics who go on at least three research trips a year to different parts of the world to bring back the latest ideas in production design, innovative lighting effects, fashion trends, entertainment and set design. Ward Benedict's entertainment division headed by Nelle Jenkins and her team of entertainers - many of whom perform over 250 gigs per year - have created a number of Premium Entertainment Brands including �The Spunky Jelly Babies' in kids entertainment, the hit drum/ tap show �Corrugated Chaos', �Pink Champagne' for corporate groups and now �The Fruit Tingles' in roving entertainment. They have their own vocal coach, choreographer, magic coach, combine extensive training in roving and character acting and they dance like none other. Our event design is based on meticulous research and everything starts with the drawing. Our clients communicate their requirements and are immediately provided with an artist's impression to clarify their view of the location/ set/ costumes/ table settings and other requirements. Our director Ben Jenkins is rapidly gaining renown for his contemporary paintings. He has painted many leading contemporaries including Virgin boss Richard Branson, fashion stars �Sass and Bide', John Laws and John Waters.
