About
The Official Bowen for Horses, Dogs and Cats, Equine Muscle Release Therapy is a non-invasive manipulation of the soft connective tissue or fascia. It consists of a series of gentle rolling moves over key points of the body. The EMRT moves then send messages via the Central Nervous System for the horse's, dog's or cat's body to reset, rebalance and in turn heal itself. The therapy works on all cells and body systems. Equine Muscle Release Therapy is holistic working on the physical, bioenergetic, mental and emotional levels. Once the animals body is back in balance optimum health and performance can be achieved. Just some conditions that EMRT can help with are: Muscle, tendon and ligament strains Uneven muscle development/muscle wastage Skeletal/structural problems Lameness Injury and illness speeds recovery through improved circulation Colds/flu, bladder/kidney infections, dry cracked hooves/ wound healing Removal of toxins and lactic acid build up associated with such conditions as tying up Degenerative and growth disorders Mental and emotional problems caused by fear tenseness and irritability Disunited paces Prevention of problems or used simply as a treat Maintenance- great for the older or younger animal Most animals need only two to three treatments Will treat other animals on request e.g. cows and goats
