Mackies installed our stand-alone system a few years ago and it works great. Since then, I have had them instal a smaller system on a shed, do some annual maintenance and software upgrades which costs about the same annually as the daily grid connection charge and I don't get any other bill for the energy I use! They even did a service on my backup generator. They can monitor my system remotely and it is set up to suit our needs. If the batteries are low but not critically low over night, the backup generator is programmed to start at a respectable time in the morning. I feel totally confident that I have a more reliable power system than anything a power authority could offer and that Mackies will be there to assist when called upon to assist. Last week my pump for house water supply stopped. I took it to O'Brien Electrical and Todd said he would look at it straight away. The result was "motor beyond economical repair" Todd then worked our a replacement to satisfy my need. He had the same pump suggested as a loan pump, which he provided at no charge for me to try. This worked well. Next day Todd provide a very competitive quote and was able to supply a new pump. His service, attention to detail, quote and setup of the new pump was outstanding.
