Milestones Early Learning Centre's mission is to be the leader of high quality care and education for children aged between 8 weeks to 5 years. The centre achieves this through providing a purpose built centre including modern learning facilities and equipment, high quality learning environments, implementation of the emergent curriculum (which includes extensive documentation of your child's development), highly qualified management and staff, and a collaborative approach in decision making with families.

Proper nutrition is a key part of this, which is why our centres have onsite cooks, who prepare delicious, high-quality, fresh meals daily for attending children. At Puggles, the creative arts make up a huge part of our curriculum, giving your child ample opportunity to participate in story time, dance, music, and drawing. Welcome to Milestones Early Learning Armidale, our qualified educators and teachers are trained in the Lifelong Learning Curriculum for ages 0-5. We nurture a lifelong love of learning through a combination of play-based and intentional teaching experiences which help your child develop Social Connectivity, Emotional Confidence, Foundational Learning and Physical Health and Wellbeing. We provide individual care and attention to children in our baby nursery, toddler program, and Kindergarten/Preschool, ensuring they receive the best possible start to their early education. We also offer flexible care options that suit the routines of busy families. Our university qualified early childhood professionals are on staff, focusing on school readiness to prepare your child for their next educational step. Child care

Warialda Public School was established in 1851, making it amongst the oldest in the state. The school services the township of Warialda and the surrounding rural areas in the Gwydir Shire. Its student population is 177, with more than half of the students travelling to school by bus. The school is well resourced with a spacious, well-grassed and well maintained playground in an attractive setting. It is staffed by a mixture of beginning and experienced teachers and support staff. There is a strong emphasis placed on literacy, numeracy and the integration of technology and higher order thinking skills. Warialda Public School offers a wide range of student based programs that promote quality education.
