Pomona State School is situated near Mount Cooroora in the Noosa hinterland. Our school is an integral part of the local Pomona community - maintaining a rural school atmosphere, while providing a wide range of modern facilities and resources. As our school population has expanded rapidly in recent years, the Education Department has put an Enrolment Management Plan in place, which geographically defines a catchment area for all future enrolments. Early Learning Centre Gympie South is fully licensed & provides educational programmes for all age groups, before and after school care, long day care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years.

Coolabah Early Childhood Development Centre is a creative and fun childcare facility providing kids with a safe and secure place to learn and grow. We are open from 6am to 6pm and provide nutritious meals for morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. We base our learning programs on the Early Years Learning Framework and our government-approved kindergarten program. For your convenience, we offer a free bus service for before and after school care programs, as well as vacation care programs. We are located in Low Street and Stevens Street in Yandina.
