Kindergarten

Located at 118 Saltwater Creek Road, Maryborough the centre is handy to St Helens Primary School and the highway to Hervey Bay. Our centre caters for children aged from 0 through to 10 years and includes a Government approved Kindergarten program and out of school care. Open Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 6.30pm, the facility is comprised of two separate purpose built centres that have been recently renovated in late 2014. The shared car park between the two centres makes it safe and easy for parent drop off and pickup. We also provide a full nappy service for babies and toddlers and a full menu of freshly prepared nutritional meals are provided daily. All teaching staff at EC Junior Education Maryborough hold formal teaching and childcare qualifications and we place a strong focus on education through play with a Reggio Emilia / Montessori curriculum approach.

This year our school celebrated 100 years of educational excellence and tradition in Maleny, proudly welcoming back over a 1000 past students, staff and community members. As a new principal to Maleny I was overwhelmed to see so many people return from all around the globe with the common theme being that their school days in Maleny were, 'the best days of their lives. At Maleny we value family ideals and strive to create a warm, supportive, school climate that promotes a sense of belonging and encourages students to be motivated self-regulated learners. We recognise that education of the whole child is essential and that as learners children are at all different stages. Our students perform well academically and thrive in our extension GEMS Program that stimulates and challenges children to be the best they can in writing, maths, science and art. Our vision is to ensure all children are connected learners and creative leaders. We boast a highly committed and skilful staff with a passion for ensuring optimal learning outcomes for our students. This combined with our highly supportive P&C, and local community enables us to form a solid high quality educational foundation and service. We have strong links with our neighbouring Maleny State High School and as a result students enjoy a successful and seamless transition into their secondary schooling.

Grow Early Education Dalby is now open! Our nurturing childcare centre will be a home-away-from-home for our families, where wonderful memories will be made. Located at 153 Cunningham Street, our childcare centre is conveniently located only a 2-minute drive to Dalby State School and just a 3-minute drive to Dalby South State School. Dalby Shopping World is also just a 2-minute drive away. Our beautiful classrooms have been designed to inspire your child. Hand-picked resources have been carefully selected to complement our curriculum and support your child as they learn and play. Our playgrounds are a child’s haven for exploring and adventure, and feature our special custom fort, cubby houses, bike tracks, and sandpits. We aim to instil a love for our natural world in every child, and our playgrounds feature beautiful herb and vegetable gardens and natural play areas too.
