At Holiday Coast Heavy Vehicle Driver Training, we've got your licencing needs covered. We are a long standing, reputable business based in Taree and servicing the Upper Hunter, Hastings, Macleay and Coffs Harbour regions. We value our clients and aim to provide an honest and supportive learning environment that will meet your needs. Nick and the team have more than 100 years combined industry and training experience; all of our trainers and assessors are qualified, RMS accredited instructors providing nationally accredited training in all heavy vehicle licence classes-LR to MC. We have vehicles with road-ranger or synchromesh gearboxes. We provide a range of forklift courses to suit all levels of experience. All courses include the Safe Work NSW accredited assessment. Great Lakes Driving School has been educating new drivers in the Forster-Tuncurry region and surrounding areas for over 15 years providing a professional driver training program. All ages are welcome to take a drive with our fully accredited instructor, from learners to older and international drivers. Whether you feel comfortable in a manual or automatic car, our female instructor has both available. They are dual control, so you can rest assured that you have an additional set of eyes on the road and hands on the controls if the need arises. Great Lakes Driving School is available for driving lessons seven days a week and we offer lesson packages which offer savings for repeat customers. Our business is RMS Logbook Instruction Certificate IV accredited, so all lessons count towards your required driving hours. If you have been driving for years, either in Australia or internationally, we offer refresher lessons to help you brush up on your road rules. Taking lessons with a qualified instructor can also assist you to break bad habits that may have started creeping into your driving technique. I was so impressed by the logical, common sense way that Peter communicated his wealth of knowledge to my son. Peter was patient, kind and full of encouragement. After 2 hours, my son (who had been driving vehicles on a farm for years) was a different driver. He was driving safely, confidently and with real road and traffic awareness. He went for his licence today and got it first go without a mark against his test - all thanks to Peter Jude! I would recommend Peter as a great driving instructor to anyone, young or old!

Honestly, if I could give John and Alison a 475638 star rating, I would. As a 27 year old with absolutely zero driving experience before moving to the area, I was super nervous - both about driving a car and the serious lack of public transport in the town. John and Alison were great! They are both very patient, excellent instructors that can carry on a conversation over the course of the time you spend in the car. John’s awful dad jokes aside, I genuinely enjoyed my 'learning to drive’ experience with these guys. They’re great people that couldn’t do enough to get me over the line. In just 2 short months, I went from zero driving experience to having my P’s. Woo! 11/10.
