Great Lakes Driving School has been educating new drivers in the Forster-Tuncurry region and surrounding areas for over 15 years providing a professional driver training program. All ages are welcome to take a drive with our fully accredited instructor, from learners to older and international drivers. Whether you feel comfortable in a manual or automatic car, our female instructor has both available. They are dual control, so you can rest assured that you have an additional set of eyes on the road and hands on the controls if the need arises. Great Lakes Driving School is available for driving lessons seven days a week and we offer lesson packages which offer savings for repeat customers. Our business is RMS Logbook Instruction Certificate IV accredited, so all lessons count towards your required driving hours. If you have been driving for years, either in Australia or internationally, we offer refresher lessons to help you brush up on your road rules. Taking lessons with a qualified instructor can also assist you to break bad habits that may have started creeping into your driving technique. We provide fully accredited driving instruction throughout the Forster region. Enjoy the comfort of our recent model cars while taking advantage of the patient instruction of our driving teacher. Honestly, if I could give John and Alison a 475638 star rating, I would. As a 27 year old with absolutely zero driving experience before moving to the area, I was super nervous - both about driving a car and the serious lack of public transport in the town. John and Alison were great! They are both very patient, excellent instructors that can carry on a conversation over the course of the time you spend in the car. John’s awful dad jokes aside, I genuinely enjoyed my 'learning to drive’ experience with these guys. They’re great people that couldn’t do enough to get me over the line. In just 2 short months, I went from zero driving experience to having my P’s. Woo! 11/10.
