What a lovely evening once again at the Helensvale Tavern. We are regular patrons of the Tavern over a number of years. We feel we should make a comment in regard to the service we receive. One staff member in particular has always demonstrated an efficient and very pleasant contact with all her customers. We appreciate her consideration and the lovely reception we get on every visit to your establishment by the lovely Sarah. In these days Sarah is an example of what service is, in every respect. They make a delicious steak and the serving sizes are generous, if that's whats you are after. The staff were quite rude and weren't willing to assist when questions asked. Table booked however we were left standing for over 10 minutes. Not happy when celebrating a family birthday. We also waited over 45 minutes for our meals and half of the table received meals then 30 minutes later the other meals arrived on our table. As a local I definitely will not return! Very disappointed.

We recently had dinner at the Waterfire Restaurant at the Boat House Tavern for my birthday and it was wonderful, it's one of my favourite places to eat at, the food is always amazing! The service could be improved as sometimes there are not enough staff on and so it means you have to wait longer for your meals, although this means more drinking and socialising while you wait :)

We have lived in Upper Coomera for over 4 yrs and this is the first time we have visited The Wattle. The staff were very friendly and helpful and advised that the place has just gone through a remodel.. it looks great. We ordered the fisherman’s basket and rump steak which were well priced. The food was cooked well and the salads were fresh which was great to see. Chips were awesome. The only negative was the prawns in the basket were a little tough but overall very happy. Glad we decided to give the place a go. Highly recommend a visit.
