The best on the coast

Always coming to this Medical Centre because they are the best.

Sensational doctor

Highly recommended and a sensation doctor. I have been using this practice for years and it's never a long wait until you see the doc. You can also always see someone on short notice. Doctor Kothari and Doctor Chetty are both great often with a different approach and very compassionate and caring. Also, counselling sessions with doctor Rani are awesome.

Good medical centre

The most important points about this place is that the staff are so caring and really treat you the way you would like to be treated. I have been going there for some time now and it's always good to see a clean waiting room, and they have hand sanitisers on the front cabinets for you to use. They are currently rebuilding so unfortunately the waiting time may be a little longer than usual.

Common questions about doctors & medical centres

What if I need a doctor outside of normal business hours?

Some medical centres offer after-hours appointments, or a home-visit doctor may be available in your area. Emergencies require a hospital visit.

How often are medical checkups recommended?

This depends. Your doctor may advise you on a recommendation based on your age, medical history and any other information required.

Do I need a referral to see a dermatologist?

Making an appointment without a referral from your GP may be possible, but your Medicare rebate may be smaller without it.

Can a GP help me with weight loss?

You doctor may be able to provide you with general healthy eating and exercise advice, as well as referrals to other health professionals if required.

What does the term "GP" stand for?

GP stands for General Practitioner.

Can I order a repeat prescription without an appointment?

Every medical centre has it's own policy for this - call your clinic for more information.

Do I need an extended consultation?

If you think you need more time with your doctor, advise the clinic at the time of your booking.

What is a HCC (Health Care Card?)

It is a concession card for eligible Centrelink customers which may subsidise your medical costs.

What does the term "bulk billing" mean?

This is where the doctor bills medicare directly for a medical consultation or treatment, with no out-of-pocket cost to the patient.

Who do I see for a skin check?

GPs, dermatologists and skin clinics can all perform an initial skin check. You may be referred elsewhere depending on the outcome of the check.
