I arrived for my regular 6 month checkup, scale and clean with Ingrid Blomberg. On arrival I was advised that the dentist doesn't work there anymore and that such services were no longer provided. The receptionist stated that nobody knows what happened to all of Ingrid's bookings and that many of her clients had arrived in similiar circumstances to mine. I was given contact details of other dentists in the area. This is completely unprofessional. If bookings are lost, a duly considered option is to actually communicate to all your clients advising of the change of services/staff (email or letter). This would also eliminate the wasted financial and human resource impacts to other business as I arranged time off from my employer for appointment that I didn't know no longer existed.
