Elise started dancing at the age of 2. She fell in love with ballet and begun full time training on the Gold Coast at the age of 15 with Amanda Bollinger Dance Academy. Here she studied full-time for 3 years in the Vaganova Method of Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance. She performed in many eisteddfods/events, prepared for auditions and trained for the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet Examinations, where she completed her final Excellence exam. In 2015 Elise auditioned and was accepted into the New Zealand School of Dance Elite International Contemporary Course where she trained full-time. Since then Elise has taught ballet on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane for the past 7 years. She holds a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management, is a registered teacher with the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet & Progressing Ballet Technique, she has participated in the Dance, Learn, Connect Teachers Day with the Australian Teachers of Dancing for Classical Ballet and she is also a qualified Acrobatic Arts Teacher. Elise is very passionate about teaching and enjoys sharing her love, knowledge and passion for dance!

What is Physie and Dance? Physie and Dance is for women and girls of all ages and is quite a unique sport combining physical exercise (in some ways similar to gymnastics), with choreographed dance movements. Physie and Dance has many benefits including: improving physical fitness establishing correct posture improving flexibility and co-ordination enhancing self confidence building social skills. Students join a physie and dance club where lessons are delivered by experienced and qualified teachers in a friendly and supportive environment. Students are offered the opportunity to compete at local, state and national events. Children who play team sports are less likely to feel isolated. Team sports can encourage parents to become active with their kids. Team sports help kids deal with winning and losing. Team sports can help kids overcome shyness.
