Principal Miss Jaymee Haack established Dance Form Professional Studio in 2009 to be a place where kids of all ages shapes and sizes learn to dance, sing and perform. As a Registered Teacher with the British Ballet Organisation (BBO), Ms Haack has professional experience developing talent in young dancers, whether for their personal achievement or to cultivate lifelong careers in dance. We offer a range of classes such as, classical ballet, jazz, modern / lyrical, tap, musical theatre, hip-hop and contemporary. It's not just the usual dance classes in our studio, we also teach acrobatics, assist with stretching and strength in specialty courses. Plus we have high-energy cheerleading classes. The Sunshine Dance Centre has been established in Nambour since 1995. Offering a wide range of performing arts, the Sunshine Dance Centre is recognised for high quality dance tuition. Past students have gone on to professional dance careers either as performers or teachers. Great success has been achieved in examinations with the opportunity to participate in the prestigious R.A.D. Classical Ballet Examinations and C.S.T.D. Theatrical, Modern Jazz and Tap Examinations. Our students have shown great dedication resulting in a consistent 100% pass rate for the school. Exams provide wonderful goals for the children in order to realise their dancing potential. Participation in Eisteddfods is encouraged to give children stage experience and enhance their quality of performance. The Sunshine Dance Centre has had many wonderful results in group, solo and duo/trio categories. In 2011, we placed first in modern, slow modern, contemporary, song and dance, and acrobatic sections across several age groups. We have also had students achieve age champions, adjudicators encouragement awards, and bursary entrants. Each year is concluded with a concert held in the Nambour Civic Centre. The end of year concert has been the highlight of previous years as I'm sure it will continue to be in the future. Surfdancing explores the possibility of expressing a full range of dance movements on a surfboard while riding a wave. Incorporates surfing manoeuvres. yoga, gymnastics, twirling, synchronised surfing, costume, creative dance choreography and percussion to create a world first new art form.

The Dance Centre is situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, nestled in the picturesque location of Peregian Springs. We provide a wide range of daily classes, workshops, holiday courses, shows, concerts and activities. With air-con, sprung flooring covered in dance tarkett, the centre is now known and loved by its students and parents. The emotional and physical health of all the participants is safeguarded by dedicated, experienced and highly qualified staff. Our dance faculty have excellent qualifications and unique experience as former soloists, ballet company directors, choreographers and company trainers with over 25 years world-wide teaching experience in professional ballet companies, dance universities, vocational and recreational dance schools. The Dance Centre annually enters students for their Royal Academy of Dance examinations and the majority of students from 6 - 16 years achieve distinctions. The Dance Centre regularly enters competitions, awards and scholarships winning numerous times and is now entering Australia-wide dance competitions with various age groups in different dance genres. Dance Centre students are able to choose from Classical Ballet, Pointe, Pas de Deux, Repertoire, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre & Drama, and Acrobatics.
