We hired a concrete cutter from Coates Mudgee Friday. The young man showed us how to start it but He had trouble starting it. Eventually, it started. We thought it was probably just cold. We paid $150 hire fee and didn’t need to return it till Monday as they are closed over the weekend. My husband could not start it and either could his mate. They tried and tried until they gave up. Our daughter returned it on Monday morning and told the girl at the desk that it wasn’t used as we couldn’t start it. The woman replied in a laughing kind of way saying “Well we did show him”. Our daughter walked out. I rang and asked for a refund the woman said she would have to call me back. I waited 2 hours. No call so I called them. A man answered. He said He didn’t have an issue starting the machine so we could not get a refund. He said we could come back and get it. We are an hour away and our plans were ruined for the weekend so we are now hiring someone to do the job instead. Not good s
