Zane Soblusky is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with more than two decades of postgraduate experience; Zane has built an extensive career spanning multiple domains within the mental health and social work sectors. His expertise covers areas such as Immigration, Juvenile Justice and Family Courts, Corrective Services, as well as both Primary and Secondary Educational settings. Additionally, he has worked closely with Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities and served in diverse roles within the private and public sectors. Zane has a proven track record of delivering effective interventions to children, adolescents, families, and broader community groups, specialising in areas like Family Therapy, Addiction Treatment, Mental Health Counselling, Grief and Loss Management, and Behavioural Change. He possesses an expansive network in the remote regions of Far North Queensland and has exhibited proficiency in working with individuals from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Zane holds a master’s degree in social work, a bachelor’s degree in science with a focus on psychology and graduate diplomas in counselling with specialisations in family therapy, addiction, grief, and loss. Passionate about establishing and nurturing meaningful relationships, Zane utilises a value-added behaviour change management approach in his practice. Each therapeutic session is customised to meet the specific needs of his clients. His methodology incorporates a range of contemporary counselling frameworks, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Utilising an integrated, client-centred model, Zane excels at assisting his clients in navigating a multitude of challenges.
