The Practice was founded in 2021 to provide affordable counselling service/workshops for the local Sunshine Coast Community. Enchanted Treehouse Counselling is a warm and friendly family owned business. We operate from our home environment that’s safe and secure. Who I Am: My name is Jessica and I am an Accredited Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. We work within the boundaries of our Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice in accordance with The Australian Counselling Association. Mission: My mission is to provide mental health support to children and their families’ in a non-clinical environment to promote the best possible outcome using their strengths to encourage the healing process. My practice is tailored to support the unique needs of individuals and their families using Evidenced Based Therapies in a confidential, non-judgmental, and supportive environment. What I Do: We offer individual/ small group Children’s Counselling sessions in an environment that’s creative and fun. We genuinely care about you and your children’s mental health and well-being that is why we choose to offer Counselling/ Education in a confidential, helpful and affordable manner. I believe mental health and well-being education is the key to creating wellness and stability in your children’s life. My vision is to provide psycho-education in a collaborative style that is filled with fun, creative activities that provides enjoyment that encourages self confidence and builds strengths. Together we can explore skills/ practice role plays and create strategies to enhance and promote resilience.

Belinda is a registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience in the areas of counselling and mental health. She works with adults, adolescents, children and parents. Belinda is able to assist people with a range of difficulties including; anxiety, panic, stress, depression, trauma, abuse, anger, addiction, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, work stress, behavioural issues, and parenting. She offers a warm, genuine and non-judgmental approach that assists people to feel comfortable and respected on their journey through the counselling process. Belinda offers a range of different therapies including: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR - for trauma), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Circle of Security Parenting Program, Attachment interventions, and Sandplay Therapy.

Now a psychologist focusing on relationships of all types, whether they be couples, families, or parental. We all desire the support, safety and security of a close loving relationship. Emotionally Focused Therapy is an experiential therapy designed to repair old wounds, build new ways of expressing our emotional responses evoked by another's actions and emotional displays. Sometimes this can be as result of our family of origin, or childhood trauma from other sources, that tripper emotional responses trying to protect us, but can be maladaptive in the current relationship. Also I am a Vietnam Veteran, and I welcome veterans from all conflicts to work with the symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, and how that may be effecting your relationships.
