Compassionate and Caring

I had the female dentist and she was excellent. They did xrays and also took photos of my teeth. I have had a couple of visits here now and all staff seem very compassionate and caring towards their customers. Easy to understand them too. I strongly recommend them!!

Common questions about cosmetic dentistry

What is cosmetic dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry treatments aim to improve the size, shape, colour and overall look of the teeth, gums and bite.

What is a trial smile?

Before having any cosmetic dentistry done, you may be able to trial the look you want with temporary restorations or computer imaging.

Are composite resin veneers better than porcelain?

Porcelain veneers tend to last longer and be less prone to chipping. However, they are more expensive than composite resin veneers.

What are some different cosmetic dentistry options?

Teeth whitening, veneers, smile reconstruction, tooth-coloured fillings and bonding are just some types of cosmetic dentistry.

Is cosmetic dentistry covered by insurance?

Normally it’s not, however, it depends on your health insurance provider and your benefits package.

Do you have to get veneers replaced?

Yes, although how often depends if you have composite resin (roughly 4 to 8 years) or porcelain veneers (roughly 12 to 25 years).

Who can have cosmetic dentistry work done?

These days, almost anyone can have cosmetic dentistry work completed to help improve the look of their smile.

If I have veneers, do I still need to have my teeth cleaned?

Good oral health applies whether you have veneers or not, so yes, it’s advised you still visit the dentist twice a year, as normal.

Why do teeth look darker as you get older?

As we age, plaque tends to build up faster and in larger amounts. Other factors can be drinking red wine or coffee and smoking.

What can you do with cosmetic dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry treatments can whiten teeth, repair breakages, show more or less gum, close gaps, correct tooth shape and much more.
