We had an opportunity to open our own Coffee Shop in 2014 and although espresso-based coffee was the norm, we soon had people asking for our cold drip coffee. Bundaberg Coffee the brand, the idea, was born October 2014 in the regional town of Bundaberg. In the beginning, it was more of a scientific experiment trialling different origin beans, roasting, grinds, volumes, drip rates, water temperature etc, all to find the perfect balance of intensity and smoothness. From our research we came up with 3 bean blend that we believe is the right blend for our cold drip brewing method, it produces a balanced and reliable flavour profile. What we did was throw out the rule book and brew it our way! We have expanded our business and brew on a much larger scale whilst still keeping the control of microbrewing. The goal, the vision has always been to produce absolute quality, refined cold drip coffee.
