Club Warwick RSL is proud to announce the appointment of the new Board for 2022. Their unique backgrounds and diverse experience will make them a great asset to the board and the Club. The newly elected Board nominated and selected Harry Liaubon as the new Board President. Harry has over forty-eight years of experience in Sales Management, Senior Management and Business Leadership, is self-motivated and disciplined with a strong level of organisational skills and firm desire to work effectively towards driving financial security and regulatory compliance to Club Warwick RSL. Harry has actively served on the Club Warwick RSL Board as Vice President since 2019. The Board also nominated and selected; Roslyn Latham as Vice President, Roslyn’s strong experience in administration, assistant conference co-ordinator, over twenty years as director of a family business and ten years as owner- partner in retail. Roslyn’s values of integrity, honesty, confidentiality and accountability, with a firm desire to work effectively with the Board and CEO for the success and security of Club Warwick RSL is paramount. Roslyn has actively served on the Club Warwick RSL Board since 2021. Yve Stocks as Treasurer, Yve is a company Director, successful business owner, past Councillor of Southern Downs Regional Council and member of Warwick Chamber of Commerce. Yve has actively served on the Club Warwick RSL Board since 2021, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the new Board. Wendy Campbell as Secretary, Wendy is a teacher by profession, teaching in the Southern Downs Region, a successful business owner for over twenty years and Secretary of Warwick Chamber of Commerce. Wendy has actively served on the Club Warwick RSL Board since 2019. The Board is unanimous in following the strategic plan set out by the previous Board, and maintaining the strong relationships with our CEO, Senior Management, Staff and Members.

Blue Wren Creekside is a unique cafe in a large country garden set on a secluded bend of Commissioners Waters, just10 mins drive from Armidale, NSW. Extensive and private gardens surround the house leading down to the water. We opened in February 2013 having spent 20 years establishing the garden amidst a busy family life and full time work. It is open on Sundays from 10am till 5pm in Spring, Summer and Autumn unless otherwise advised. Morning and afternoon teas include deliciously home baked treats, espresso coffee and specialty teas served in old world, fine bone china. Lunch bookings are taken in advance via phone, email or Facebook message. Blue Wren Creekside also opens for larger groups on other days by arrangement. A small gift shop allows guests to buy plants, a special gift for someone or a memento of their visit. Accommodation can be arranged via the website Airbnb or contacting Blue Wren Creekside. Only 5 minutes away is the naturally stunning wilderness of the Gara Gorge and the �Blue Hole�, both very popular tourist attractions. Chain Reaction Qld started out as a hobby, not intended as a business at all. With interests in beaded jewellery and silversmithing as a hobby I was looking to source different suppliers for variety and pricing that wasn't currently available. Often friends dropping in for a coffee with similar interest would ask - Do you have a spare strand of these beads? Do you think you could find these for me? Others would see my creations and over the years many custom pieces have been admired and sold from the kitchen bench! Lol! From there it just got busier, we now stock everything from card making and scrapbooking, embellishments to quilling papers, all beading supplies with beads by the strand and the gram, sterling silver and silversmithing supplies.... hence the name Chain Reaction!! Our foundation is to make hobby crafts like beading, resin, card making and even silversmithing affordable and enjoyable to all.
