Graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1988, he received BSc degree in Pharmacology. He was also a visiting scholar at the Department of Medicine, The University of Queensland. Not only dedicated to western medicine, but he is also passionate in Chinese Medicine. He had master's degree in Acupuncture and master's degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine both from RMIT University.
