Tully Flames Junior Football Club offers children the opportunity to learn the game of soccer and all aspects of it from an early age. Our Under 5 Squirts learn to have football fun with basic skills at our weekly training and our Under 6 and up to Under 16 we teach core skills at weekly training sessions and play season competition against other clubs in the region on Saturday afternoons in Silkwood as part of the Johnstone River Football Association. Established by Geoff Smith in 2016, Cassowary Coast Counselling offers counselling for teens and adults in the Cassowary Coast. Geoff practises a person-centred Gestalt approach to therapy that respects the individual's internal experience. Geoff is a Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and holds a Graduate Certificate in Gestalt Therapy (Gestalt Therapy Brisbane), and a Diploma of Counselling (Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors). Geoff completed his Master's Degree in Gestalt Therapy in 2020. Prior to establishing Cassowary Coast Counselling, Geoff was a residential worker with Save the Children Australia where he supported Unaccompanied Minors at Australia's offshore processing centre in Nauru. This role followed his position with Uniting Care Community where he worked within a 24/7 therapeutic residential facility, supporting complex to extreme-needs young people. As a result, Geoff has extensive knowledge and experience in the contemporary practice of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Trauma Informed Care; supporting and helping children who are in crisis. Our school has served the Millaa Millaa community since 1918. We were once a larger school community in the days when there were prosperous timber, dairy and beef industries in the Millaa Milla area.
