Matt then spent a year in Perth W.A. Working on heritage buildings, in and around the Northbridge and Subiaco areas with his fathers cousin. Here earthy limestone accentuates the uniformity of red brick and ornate federation fascades. In 1999 Matt moved to Noosa Heads on the Queensland Sunshine Coast. The creative use of building materials was a real eye opener. During this time Matt was lucky enough to work on homes featured on TV shows like “Our House” and others.
