I took my labrador to this vets and they refused to see him. He was barking at the staff as he was unwell, in pain and anxious. Another staff member suggested sedation but was told I won’t be seeing this dog and then told me to leave. A follow up phone call was not offered. They could have rang me later and organised a plan to have my dog given a sedative to help with his anxiety. I came home and rang another vets and a plan was organised straight away for us to come in tomorrow and be seen. He has a very sore, red, swollen, possibly infected paw and because vet care was refused he had to spend another night in terrible pain and distress. The Family Vet Centre motto is we care for your pets like family, what a joke. I am very upset and angry. To see your pet in pain is terrible, to have to go through another 24hrs because vet care was denied is disgraceful.
