We just purchased our first caravan from Caravan City, Dale knows everything you want to know or if she doesn't she will find out for you. The help that she gives everybody makes you want to come back and tell others about the service that she gives. We ask about getting some instructions about how things work and she told us that as part of getting the van they give you a full orientation about your van and how everything works, so when you leave you are confident to be able to go out and enjoy life on the road. We would highly recommend that anybody looking to get purchase a caravan go and see Caravan City.

The service team at Varsity Lakes were fantastic today sorting an air-conditioner problem we had in our motorhome We arrived without prior booking and they still had us back on the road in no time at all at no cost to ourselves !!

After 6 weeks of travelling across Australia and back with a non operable Dometic caravan fridge, Dometic Varsity Lakes inspected the appliance at no charge. I had been advised by an Auto electrician that the fridge had burned out the main control unit and had then completely fried the wiring in the inspection bay. Further, he "tested" it and stated it would not operate until the refrigerator had been either repaired or replaced. Dometic immediately refuted his claims and that the control units are fragile, and replaced the wiring loom. The fridge ran and continues to run, perfectly. My thanks and gratitude to Danny Emerson, Scotty and the team at Dometic Varsity Lakes for a great job, and a very satisfied customer. Brickbats to the sparky and I'll never trust another automotive electrician.

I have found the Dometic people at Burleigh Heads to be extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. They found the problem and repaired my camper trailer fridge in a very thorough and professional manner. They went out of their way to be of extra assistance and gave very helpful advice and great service. I highly recommend them.

Good tent, not the greatest value I have decided to write this review after returning from a 9 day trip away in the TRT140M. This is my second trip away in the tent. I will start with the pros first. - easy set up - plenty of room in tent, nice and high ceiling - cover leaves plenty of extra room so you can leave bedding including pillows in the tent while packed up - reasonably light, can easily put on top of car with 2 people - plenty of airflow thru tent, heaps of windows - boot pockets and pockets within tent are great.

Dometic CS102 is Perfect for camping. Took our new baby bbq away for 2 weeks camping and used it almost every day. Cooks beautifully and so easy to clean.

Great compact battery - Game changer. Charge it at home before leaving, in the car while headed out/on a long roadtrip. Lasts the whole weekend for our CFX-35. We keep the fridge plugged in on the cars 12v power while driving and keep this battery topped off from the same. Once we’re to our camping spot, we unplug the fridge, pop it into this battery and turn it on and literally forget about it. There’s a nice digital display with battery readout but we honestly don’t even look at it because it just keeps it running day and night. Perfect for a weekend warrior type overland build!

Great tent for a teardrop caravan We had been looking for a tent for our small Tucana teardrop caravan and came across the Dometic Tailgate Air. We ended up going to their head office and they kindly fitted it to the back of the van and its fitted like a glove. Lots of anchor ropes to support the shape which we attached to the van, easy to put up with either the manual pump or the electric pump (which can be purchased separately). The tent has 2 doors either side and a large window at the back for ventilation it was like having another room on our small van, it could easily be used for additional bedding if required. The material is waterproof which came in handy when our holiday consisted of wet weather so we placed our chairs into the tent at the back of the van we were comfortable and dry. Tent folds down into a medium sized bag which is light and easy to store for the next trip. Would recommend for either a Teardrop van or a suv. Great purchase I say.
