Bluewater Caravan Park is a pet friendly park set amongst 55 acres of native bushland and landscaped gardens and boasts some of the largest sites in North Queensland. The park is just 20 minutes north of the Townsville CBD. It is the ideal location to base yourself for day trips to local sandy beaches, Paluma and Girringun National Parks and magnificent Magnetic Island. Accommodation options include fully self-contained, air conditioned studio rooms and tourist cabins, large unpowered and powered sites with some offering the convenience of an ensuite. Facilities include a swimming pool, fully equipped camp kitchen with free gas BBQ and fire pit. The kiosk offers cold drinks, milk and ice as well as a free book exchange. The three amenities blocks have coin operated laundries. An easy access dump point is located within the park.

Bridgeview Training and Hire deliver machinery courses, machinery hire, container hire and accommodation. Our training programs are designed for the construction and mining industries. We deliver High Risk Work licence training, Safety short courses and Machinery training for the Civil Construction and Mining (Surface Extraction) industry. With 10 years experience, we have the knowledge and accreditation to be able to provide specialised training services for you onsite and on demand. We also do Recognitions of Prior Learning (RPLs or Conversions) for old WHS tickets to the new RII codes for mining and civil construction and Machinery Hire. We focused on servicing and training the workforce with a mature and professional business model. We achieve this by relaying our belief that safety is something that should be understood and not because it is a requirement. We have a responsibility to educate our clients and to change workers mindsets of staying safe within their workplace by the methods that they choose. The Pentland Hotel is a small country pub with friendly staff offering cold drinks, meals, rooms, free pool tables and free caravan parking / camping on site. Pentland is on the Overlander's Way, which connects Townsville to Tennant Creek. It's about 2.5 hours west of Townsville or 1.5 hours east of Hughenden. We have air conditioned motel rooms available and offer free unpowered sites. Meals are available Wednesday - Saturday. Popular meals include fish & chips, chicken kiev, beef burger and the pub favourite - crumbed steak.
