Such a lovely relaxing rural break. Total contrast to the coast and The Daintree. Like Bowral but in FNQ! Clean and spacious place, friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere.

Lakeside Motor Inn

I did get a response, although I was offered a good deal, unfortunately I am unable to accept for personal reasons.

Quinola Lakes

The Coconut Resort has to be the most enjoyable place to take your family. It has a great variety of accommodation to choose from. It has two swimming pools to spend your days lazing by the pool. Plus they have an aquatic adventure play area for the kids to play while the parents can just relax with a book or coffee. There are jumping pillows, pool room for the older kids, movie nights and pancake mornings. There's a shop for those small items you have forgotten to bring. There's also a fabulous restaurant and takeaway for those days your don't feel like cooking. Once we arrived, I found the kids just didn't want to go anywhere. Drive from Mackay took a while but well worth it.
