I recently had a wheel bearing and brake service done at yard 5 and was invoiced for 6 hours labour ie 1.5 hours per wheel. They installed new bearings which would negate the necessity to clean the old bearings. The labour cost was $100 per hour. I have had this service done on 3 previous occassions, at other businesses, at a cost of $250 to $300 parts and labour. Could this be another case of the Mackay coal tax?
We took our caravan to this company in Townsville for a couple of reasons. Firstly I couldn’t find anyone in Cairns interested in the repair needed. Secondly the Caravan Hub reviews were enough to. convince me. The job turned out to be bigger than I expected with several panels needing replacement. Just prior to beginning the work, COVID intervened and the job took longer than anticipated.
The company kept in touch with news of how the job was progressing.
We now have the caravan back and we’re delighted with what is now virtually a new van from the exterior.
Josh leads a team of professionals who know their stuff and I am very happy to give them top marks for their attitude and customer service. I can thoroughly recommend The Caravan Hub
Took are van there to have fridge repaired after having the van for 3 days the fridge was worse. Had to get someone else to look at it. I wouldn't go there as a last resort I would travel to Townsville or rocky first.
Well thank you again Peter and Kim for navigating us through the whole process of purchasing a van. We couldn’t be more happier with our Fantasy Caravan and look forward to our next big adventure which is to Newcastle at Easter. I’ve included a few shots and I’m sure we will get better as we get along. It’s certainly 100% better then the camper trailer. Thanks again Peter & Kim.
We purchased awning rails and had them fitted. We were impressed with the knowledge of staff and with the great service we received. We can recommend them to anyone seeking fair prices and great service.
