Rang around and found Erina Battery Centre the cheapest . Supplied the correct battery and said to bring the car back when it was started and they would check it over. Recommend them very highly

My Family has been going to Richard Green Automotive for the past five years. We lived out of the area before that. He is the best at what he does. The staff are excellent. Thank You Richard for your expertise and fabulous service.

After having to clutch start my Ranger yesterday I wasn't willing to take any chances. TLB wre on my doorstep within 1/2 hr, Of course, the car started (repeatedly) so he did a reading and explained that the battery probably only needed a bit of additional charging - no need to replace at the moment. Very friendly and professional and I wasn't charged for the call-out. Highly recommend these guys!!

Alright, let's blow off the dust and dive right into the world of car batteries! To put it simply, a car battery is like the heart of your vehicle. It breathes life into your ride, powering everything from the headlights to the radio. But not all car batteries are created equal. Indeed, there are different types - each with their own unique strengths.
So, first up let's meet Lead Acid Batteries. These trusty old pals have been around for donkey’s years and are still popular thanks to their affordability and reliability. They're filled with sulphuric acid which reacts with lead plates inside to produce electricity. Easy-peasy.
Shift gears and welcome Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) batteries as our next contestant. Unlike basic lead-acid, AGM uses glass mats which absorb electrolytes better (hence the name), leading to increased durability and performance. Yes, they're a tad pricier but often worth every penny if long-term cost efficiency rings your bells.
Moving right along to Lithium-ion batteries — these high-tech performers are not run of the mill deals at all — they're what you'd find in electric or hybrid vehicles mainly because they’re perfect for peak energy demands. Sure thing, they come packing a hefty price tag but boy do they deliver in terms of performance and lifespan!
Close on their heels we have Deep Cycle Batteries used primarily for smaller machines like boat engines or golf carts; these champs provide sustained power over longer periods rather than short powerful bursts.
Here we are folks – four common kinds of car batteries zipping down your Central Coast highways! Each unique in its own right and tailored for different needs and performances within your beloved motorized companions. Remember though that no matter how solid your battery may be, regular maintenance is absolutely critical in ensuring a smooth ride down under!
