This park has a family of four that own it. The park for the last eight years has been developed by this family and they can be proud of their work. been coming to this park for 5 years and still the park is maintain to a high standard. It is only 5 min to Emu Park and 12 min to Yeppoon and very quite place to stay.

Island View Caravan Park

We stayed at Island View recently while on a work trip. Gorgeous gardens, top notch facilities, super peaceful, and the family who own it are lovely to chat with and happy to make dinner recommendations etc. You can tell they enjoy making this place a little oasis and continue to make new additions and upgrades to make this place a really inviting getaway. 2 pools, cool little areas you can hang out in with a group of people away from everyone else, Hotel grade fittings in the amenities block (love the big rain style shower heads- an absolute first I have ever encountered in a caravan park), and they are even replacing the permanent vans with cottages for the residents, so they can enjoy more modern and visually appealing lodgings. Frankly, you can see how much passion has gone into the place, and appreciate the vision the owners have for the park. Another treat was the wildlife- ponies in an adjoining paddock, lovely native birds that are attracted by the picturesque trees.
