Jason Robinson started ABCNQ in 2003 and since that time we have helped out thousands of customers, and learnt the reason we operate a successful business and whilst we know price is important we know the products we sell are of the highest quality as is our customer service. All our courses and training are Nationally Recognised . We currently operate the North Qld Section and work hard to ensure we make things 'EASY AS ABCNQ', we offer courses from Mackay across to the border including Cape York region and West to Hughenden, Mt Isa with regular courses in Townsville and Cairns. We will travel to the Gulf and Cape York for a course if the numbers allow. I have been involved in boats for more than 30 years and I am a commercial Mariner with many years experience obtained in the military as crew and skipper of military vessels. A keen fisherman and water skier, we enjoy teaching all aspects of boating and encourage people to be involved with the enjoyment of boating in the North. We offer tailored packages to suit the requirements of the general public, university students, school groups and military personnel; a considerable saving can be achieved if booking large groups. We offer Boat, PWC and Marine Radio licences on a weekly basis and encourage people from as young as 15 years and 9months to come along for an enjoyable course. You can obtain your Boat and PWC Licence as young as 16 years but can do all the training earlier as the certificate of competency is valid for 6mths from the course date and must be presented to Transport and Main Roads within this period. All training is conducted on our purpose built Commercial vessels, you will be pleasantly surprised at what you will learn and achieve. If you already have a licence and just want to learn or refresh your skills or coming from interstate and want to learn the rules and regulations in QLD, you can sit in on the course for a reduced price and this will include both theory and practical learning.
