So what makes us different? We are a family owned business with strong ties to the local community. We started in 2015 as a small catering business, renting just a piece of the kitchen. And while baking, attracting our first customers by the delicious smells, we threw in a couple of tables and chairs into the function room. Now we are proudly serving great coffee, breakfast and lunch. We are famous for our High teas. We run corporate events and conferences. Last month we travelled to Airlie for both my children's birthdays, The Balloon Emporium exceeded my expectations. The day of their birthdays we had the number of the age they were turning and favourite theme, delivered to our accommodation and exact room number as a small suprise to our kids. They loved the suprise and added that little bit extra to their birthday away from home. Would recommend to anyone travelling for a birthday and wanting to add some hassle-free, final touches. My kids loved them!

First impressions walking in to this establishment was dark and music was loud which was making everyone talk louder than to accommodate the music at least there was atmosphere. On seating noticed 4 staff members all chatting sipping coffee behind the counter. On looking at the menu was very basic which is good but however little bit over priced. On placing order counter was very clutted. Staff member was accommodating for the changes that I wanted. I ordered eggs Benny on sourdough with no spinach and large chips to share with gravy. The coffee was a good size for a large cup bigger than average large from other coffee shops. The eggs benny was good eggs where over cooked. The chips where hot didnt take long to get cold due to the air-conditioning. Now comes to the gravy. Gravy was either cold and reheated or not made properly lumpy and not mixed threw could still taste the powder and granulated this needs attention especially when you have to pay extra for little jugs of gravy.

Prossy pies are definitely Qld’s best along the whole coast from Cairns to Brisbane. Great prices and all generously filled. Sadly the young staff could learn to smile just a little whilst serving customers and the experience of stopping at Prossy Pies for pies coffee and delicious sweets would lift the ratings to 5 star. Still a great little bakery! Well done to the owner! We will always stop on our travels.!

I ordered a pie and sausage roll as I was starving. It was baked on site and was very nice. However, they did not have EFTPOS, which was weird. But the food at Collinsville Bakehouse was actually nice! Yum!!
