“I would like to say a huge thank you to the Tigers club. I had booked two tickets for the Melbourne cup luncheon—one for my mother who is 89. On Monday her street was hard hit by the freak storm at Toukley. She unfortunately fell, breaking her leg. On the day of the cup, I called the club, asking if I could get a refund. They said yes without hesitation. Since then they have called me inquiringly about my mum, she's doing ok! We both want to say thank you. In this day of business is business, it's nice to feel some compassion. A big thank from my mum and I.”

“We just love the food, service and of course the view. Our favourites are the fish and chips I’ve never tasted better, fresh fish and the crispy chips. Everything we have tried has been delicious. The staff are wonderful and friendly. What else can I say it’s just a wonderful place to meet friends and have some wonderful food. Bob The Entrance”

“Golden Gate Cafe is one in a million.. The Customer service is old school and rare these days. I would recommend this place to anyone on the coast, just don't come across customer service like this anymore!!! The food is also good but the customer service is what stuck out for me. Well done.”
