Such a great place for a quick bite or a long brunch. Food portions are very large, well priced & coffee is always a great blend. They also offers cold brew which is great on a hot day. Ideally located and will definitely become a regular haunt after my recent experiences, especially now its open on Saturdays morning.

This place has a lovely atmosphere, great coffee and super quick service. My partner and I are vegetarian and there was a wide range of breakfast dishes to choose. Meals were delicious, really generous and healthy.

We are regular visitors to Newcastle and always in need of a coffee fix. Delighted to discover this cafe next to the new courthouse. Great coffee and lots of house-baked deliciousness - banana bread that you can see actual bananas in, gourmet sausage rolls, yummy-looking sandwiches and a daily specials board.

Absolutely love this place. Friendly staff and the food is so nice. We ordered a big breaky and a truffle scrambled egg with smoked salmon - the flavour was just delicious. If I'm going to make another trip back to Newcastle, One Penny Black will be one of the reasons.
