Picnic Society was born as an online store five years ago when long time best friends Linda Mehan and Carolyn Barker decided to share their love of styling with the art of picnicking to offer ‘quirky stuff for picnics’ to fellow picnic lovers.Having established a strong on-line business over the years, Picnic Society fulfils orders from around Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and Hong Kong. Now physically located in a retail shop front with a commercial kitchen, the business is headquartered in Toogoolawah in the Somerset region. The Picnic Society shop offers a range of seasonal, local handmade providore items, picnic boxes and grazing platters as well as fresh picnic sandwiches, homemade cakes and glorious coffee. It has an exciting retail section and a beautifully curated vintage glass and china section for those who love to style their food events.
