Our extensive range of fresh meat including Black Angus, Darling Downs Wagyu and Cape Grim. We have also sourced some of the very best pork and lamb available. Our chicken is sourced locally and guaranteed to only be the finest and freshest chicken available. Free range chicken that are totally free of antibiotics are also available. “It was the first time I have bought any meat from you guys. We had your eye fillet before xmas and it was melt in the mouth (absolutely beautiful). I ordered a xmas ham (6kilo) and it was the best ham we have ever had. It was moist and absolutely fabulous.We could not have asked for better. You promised me it would be great and it certainly was. You were all an absolute pleasure to meet with happy smiling faces as well which you dont get much anymore. Thank you so much and Happy New Year to you all.”

The seafood for sale in this shop is generally a bit expensive for me, so I enjoy the cheaper fish on special. Today (20/08/24), the sign outside showed Fresh Mullet fillets $14.95 per kg, so I ventured inside the shop to get some. The Filleter at the service counter said that they were awaiting some more Mullet which may get there soon. I explained that they should amend the sign outside, but not much interest was shown. I will try another day.

Cotton Tree Meats WholesaleThese guys know what they are doing. A Father/Son team (with extras) know their meats and produce high-quality products. Don't come here if you are looking for cheap meat. They are by no means expensive, but the quality, presentation and pride is that of a someone who knows what they are doing. This shop has had good butchers then shocking butchers (where you wondered if they were using blunt knives to carve the meat), fortunately we are back to the years of having GREAT butchers! We would travel to this butcher who smokes their own bacon, makes their own salamis etc. They have pride and this team is always friendly and happy to help! As a local of more than 13 years, we are pleased to have real, quality butchers back in the Mount Coolum Butchery!
