We have engaged Modern Rustic on 3 separate occasions now. In the first instance, having seen the house that they built in Trinity Park first hand, we knew their eclecticism, attention to detail and eye for quality so we engaged them to do a pre-purchase assessment on a house we were seriously considering buying. As a result, we passed on that property but had Modern Rustic do a complete inspection and assessment of the house we eventually purchased. Since purchasing, we have engaged them for interior design guidance, advice and direction including preservation of features and the sourcing of bespoke pieces. Finally, Modern Rustic have undertaken small renovation projects and we are engaged in discussions regarding the remodelling of the kitchen and bathrooms. The combination of this powerhouse couple's hands-on experience, professional knowledge and open approach to all they do, is unlike any we've previously seen or commissioned in the industry. Bad attitude company! This company worked in our apartment complex in Cairns on two separate occasions and they had zero respect for owner occupiers on both occasions. They blocked our common property one way roundabout roadway with their ute and long trailer, for several hours, thus preventing our apartment complex's owner's gaining access around the roundabout. They wedged our building pedestrian security gate open for several hours and left it open when they left as a childish, petty, vindictive & vexatious gesture. Bottom line-from arrival to departure they were an offence to myself, (an owner/occupier of the apartment complex), and other owners living in our communal apartment complex.
