BEST Building Construction & Project Management in Sunshine Coast QLD

I have just move into my lovely new 2 BR, 2 BTH plus study town house in Cooroy, and I could not be happier with my new home. I have had fabulous guidance and support from Colin Johnson of Alba Projects all the way through this build over the last 12 months or so. He is honest, reliable and has gone out of his way to make the minor modifications that I wanted to my gorgeous down sized home. It is just so very nice. He has gone beyond my expectations to see that everything is working as it should. I am about to start working on making the garden space my own, just as soon as the unpacking is done. And I can also recommend the township of Cooroy if you are thinking of a move. Great little town, with great services.

"We were looking for a local architect to build us a house on a steep block in Buderim. In that selection process Chris suggested an initial meeting on-site to understand how we thought about the block and our initial thoughts for our requirements. We also wanted to have active involvement in the project. From that discussion we were impressed with Chris - he listened to us and had a professional and pragmatic approach to his thinking. The agreed architectural brief was for Chris to provide sketch design, detailed design and construction documentation services [for a fixed fee]. Throughout the design phases Chris provided many document versions for our comment at meetings and on-line; this process was both collaborative and very enjoyable. The end result is a house that met the brief, is easy to live in, is effectively a one-level house despite the steep site and takes advantage of the views and prevailing breezes.
