Tangentyere Constructions was established by the executive of Tangentyere Council as an Aboriginal-owned construction company. We specialise in the construction of cost-effective, high-quality housing for Alice Springs, as well as providing employment opportunities for Aboriginal workers. We provide a range of general building services and renovations, including large-scale projects. Some specialist buildings that we have previously built include schools, community stores and health centres. Tangentyere Constructions has also designed its own house model, which was added to the approved standard designs by the Indigenous Housing Authority of the Northern Territory (IHANT). The team at Tangentyere Constructions cater for new building work, as well as renovations and refurbishments. Our contractors are available for work in Alice Springs, as well as remote areas of the Northern Territory. We are CAL accredited for both urban and remote work. In addition to building and construction services for residential and commercial clients, we also offer training across these industries. Tangentyere Constructions can also offer project management for a range of building projects, whereby we coordinate all trades to ensure your project is completed on time and on budget. We aim to provide a career path to members of the local indigenous community, engaging their services in building projects that will benefit their community. Founded to help relieve sickness, destitution, poverty, misfortune or helplessness among Aboriginal people in Central Australia, Tangentyere Constructions operates under a Charitable Trust arrangement.
