Ive had several pieces of furniture reupholstered by them, and although the workmanship is good, their customer service is poor. I paid cash on delivery when my furniture was delivered and only checked my own invoice afterwards, upon which I realised I had paid too much. I phoned Margaret up and was told to email my bank details through to her. Two weeks later still no response , so I sent another email. Two weeks after that I phoned her and was told she was going to transfer the money that day - of course she didnt. Another phone call later , another excuse and still no money has been credited to my account. Margaret is downright rude and dishonest. Im taking the matter to the Small Claims Tribunal. You would be better off going to another upholstery business that values honesty and good customer service!
I only have positive things to say about this facility. Tom and the team are friendly and helpful, always interested in the project and the advice is professional and sound. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alkira. Thanks guys.
I have been dealing with dean for around 3 years. His servicing knowledge and shit he has got me out of with his advice. (And the shit I got into cause I didn’t take his advice). has been invaluable. I would recommend dean and his staff for anything related to boats, Engines or trailers. He is very reasonably priced and the statements are very detailed and he will call you if there is something out side of the normal scope of works. 5 stars from me.
