Great for an overnight stay in Mackay. The welcome was very friendly, the motel looks well maintained and easy distance to restaurants etc., our room was IMMACULATE and had everything we needed, plus the beds were very comfortable. The hot water was piping hot and the water pressure was terrific. We wished we could have stayed longer. Well done Lantern Motor Inn.

Overnight stay in Mackay and found this fab place. Management went out of the way to be accomodating. This motel represents great value and the rooms are superior to other like motels that we have stayed in in Mackay. Evening meals are good and represent value. Future travelling through Mackay will see this as our preferred option.

What a great motel with everything you need for 1 night or more. Great to have a comfortable chair to watch TV from as well as small dining setting for eating in. Outstanding service and cleanliness.The extras make it 11 out of 10!!

Did an overnighter in Mackay, and was lucky to come across this gem of a place. Management went out of their way to be accomodating, this motel represents excellent value, and the rooms are superior to other like motels that we have stayed in in Mackay. The meals were also great value, and for future travels to Mackay we will see this place as our preferred option.

The best stay ever, we had the warmest welcome by the lovely lady Leanne. The motel and its grounds are immaculate. Our room is spotless and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. We have stayed in many motels before, and The Lantern Motor Inn is by far the best ! * * * * * 5 Stars for you!

Have spent a few months at a time in Mackay for work, and spent most my stay at the lantern, Andrew and Leanne were exceptional hosts, thank you guys so much for your great hospitality and making me feel so welcome. Will be back to stay again, and recommend to others.
