Mia says Tara was a lovely host. Mia would definitely return and highly recommend. Tara and the very cute cat named Max went out of their way to make Mia welcome. The cottage was very well equipped at a very reasonable price. It was spacious. It was a private and fantastic place to stay in Uralla.

Aurelias Farm B&B

We stayed here with friends before and after walking in the Abel Tasman National Park with Wilsons. The location was just perfect and the meal at the Speights Ale House (short walk away) was fantastic! Pete was warm and friendly. The breakfast was incredible - lots of options and everything was delicious - it was hard to stop eating. The room was really comfortable with lots of welcoming extras. Delicious bikkies and lots of nice teas to choose from. Spa was a Godsend post walk. We highly recommend a stay at Ambleside.

The Shearer's Quarters

If you would like an escape to the country go no further than BellbirdHill B&B. The owners and your hosts Lesley and Peter Trood go out of their way to give you a memorable experience. Since our last visit Peter further developed his custom B&B by building a fabulous outside brick pizza oven. We had a wonderful time creating our pizzas and watching them cook in the brick oven. The gazebo area is so relaxing. You can sit and enjoy the breathtaking view over the river valley. What a setting for a very tasty lunch. In the evening we again stoked the oven and roasted a big piece of rump. The meat developed a wonderful smokey flavour. It was so tender and delicious and went great with the roast vegetables and home baked whole grain bread. My husband and I decided on the nautical themed suite for our nights sleep. The room had ducted air conditioning and electric blankets. Such a pretty suite with a gorgeous quilted bed cover which was made by Lesley. The room was beautifully appointed and had a very comfy bed. What is very special is the absolute silence so if you need a good nights sleep this is the place. I rose early and enjoyed the colourful sunrise over the valley. Don't forget to bring your camera as there are lots of photo opportunities. After having a great breakfast which was included, we sadly said goodbye until next time.
