Perry Penfold is the most reliable, traditional, yet completely up-to-date genuine mechanic who specialises in Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen and also works on other awkward cars like Jaguars, Bentleys, Rolls Royce, etc. Perry explains what he does and is very reasonable in the accounts he charges. I have had Perry maintain and improve from minor maintenance to major mechanical work on the following cars I've owned over the last 22 years: 6 x Mercedes-Benz S-Class, 5 x Porsches, a Jaguar XJS V12, a Subaru WRX, Peugeots, BMWs, Volkswagen Jetta, Golfs, + others. I have always been happy with his work on all these cars. If Perry finds a job difficult, he tells you and works out a solution. His honesty and great work ethic are rare and refreshing in these days of deception and 'highway robbery' by dealerships. Regarding the negative review on this site, my guess is the writer did not pay Perry fully and therefore had his job 'go slow' till he paid up.

I asked a young sales woman pushing a trolley about a plug in thingy for my son's old car that receives blue tooth and can play his music. As you can see I have no idea what I was looking for. But she did! She was awesome and friendly and didn't make me feel like a daggy mum who doesn't know technology. PLUS my son was super happy with the result. Happy Christmas!!
