Welcome to the Blind Baker! Our bakery, in the heart of New Lambton Village, features on-site bakers who produce delicious items daily. We specialise in freshly made gluten-free products as well as artisan sourdough and tasty handmade goods. We bought the bakery in 2018, recognising that it was a unique and growing business with a loyal customer base who demand exceptional quality. We soon grew into a tight-knit, passionate staff who believe in treating our customers like family. Our talented bakers pour their heart into everything we sell. You will be warmly welcomed when you visit our bakery. We look forward to you experiencing the Blind Baker difference. We are one of the few bakeries in Newcastle that bake all our gluten-free items fresh on the premises. We strive to uphold the strictest guidelines to provide a safe environment for creating fresh, mouth-watering gluten-free products. You can be assured that our processes are thorough and consistent. The Blind Baker uses only the best, freshest ingredients to ensure our gluten-free sweet and savoury baked goods are of the highest quality and taste simply amazing! Come in and try our gluten-free lemonade or savoury scones. Our artisan sourdough is made daily using time-honoured, traditional methods. The ‘mother dough’ we use at the beginning of the baking process has been growing for years, producing an exceptional bread. Sourdough is very popular, not just because it tastes incredible but also because of the health benefits it provides. It is low in sugar, is packed with a variety of nutrients and is beneficial for gut health. Come in and try some of our old-fashioned, delicious sourdough, the perfect base for your sandwich or to accompany any meal.
