He serviced my transmission less than 3 months ago.
Yesterday it would not select reverse and wouldn't come out of 2nd gear.
I limped it back to him only for him to say, it's broken and I'll need over $5000+ to repair it, but can't do it until next year.
He not once checked the OBDII scan tool for probable faults, just kept saying 5k 5k 5k mate.
I had a mechanic check the computer only to find simple solenoid faults and dirty transmission fluid.
He asked if Burleigh Autos flushed the transmission fluid or diagnosed any faults at time of service.
Nothing, other than a small amount of clutch dust in the pan, which he said was normal!!!
Bob comes across as a fine charming man diagnosed the fault in my car and a few days later after not organising the parts I bought them and then on trying to get back to him my phone was blocked. So managed to get to him on my wifes phone and was promised with no agro he would fix the problem on Tuesday am which became pm and on a phone call he said still coming . tried to get him that evening and the next day to him not answering or calling back. Now i have to find somewhere else to finish the job. Why he could not have the decency to give some explanation for his behaviour I do not know. When work get tough to find one day maybe a few up manners might be the answer. In my opinion stay clear of this company.
