Chain Reaction Qld started out as a hobby, not intended as a business at all. With interests in beaded jewellery and silversmithing as a hobby I was looking to source different suppliers for variety and pricing that wasn't currently available. Often friends dropping in for a coffee with similar interest would ask - Do you have a spare strand of these beads? Do you think you could find these for me? Others would see my creations and over the years many custom pieces have been admired and sold from the kitchen bench! Lol! From there it just got busier, we now stock everything from card making and scrapbooking, embellishments to quilling papers, all beading supplies with beads by the strand and the gram, sterling silver and silversmithing supplies.... hence the name Chain Reaction!! Our foundation is to make hobby crafts like beading, resin, card making and even silversmithing affordable and enjoyable to all.

100% handcrafted puppets, marionettes and interactive effigies by Byron Bay-based artists, Sol and Sara. A crazy, colourful and fantastically-fey exhibition of creatures and characters that celebrate the vibrant melting-pot of world culture. Legends and stories, from the Dawn of Time and into the Near-Future, abound in this unique display of individual artworks. We individually hand sculpt the basic character and counterweights (head, face, hands and feet) from raku clays fired to stoneware temperature; everything else is from found objects and up-cycled materials. As a result, we keep our prices low enough to offset the time and labour involved, charging little to nothing for the 'art' and so selling direct to the public at an accessible wholesale cost. Our marionettes are very easy to use. They are designed to have excellent movement and can be used by absolutely anybody from the age of 4 up! Dance them to your music, tell stories from inside you, display them as art or just freak out your friends� Life is a little less vibrant without an interactive effigy to share it! We can create a unique interactive environment for your event or party and give your friends an experience they will NEVER forget!
